The Autoimmune Association is a 501c3 nonprofit organization founded in 1991 to increase awareness about autoimmune diseases. Today it has grown to become the world’s leading association on the forefront of autoimmune disease awareness, advocacy, education, and research.

What are the goals of the Autoimmune Association?

The Autoimmune Association’s goals are set forth in our Mission Statement: Autoimmune Association is dedicated to the eradication of autoimmune diseases and the alleviation of suffering and the socioeconomic impact of autoimmunity through fostering and facilitating collaboration in the areas of education, public awareness, research, and patient services in an effective, ethical and efficient manner.
