Knowledge is Empowerment

Autoimmune Association has teamed up with other leaders from the International Foundation for Autoimmune and Autoinflammatory Arthritis (IFAA), the PurplePlayas Foundation, and Clara Health for a three-part series, “Knowledge Is Empowerment”.

Our goal is to equip people with the knowledge to manage their rare disease, being #ConditionConfident in their diagnosis, and empowered through the knowledge we will provide during our events.

Twitter Chat #ConditionConfident Monday, February 25th 7 pm ET. Missed it? No problem! Just go to Twitter, search #ConditionConfident and keep the conversation going!

Join in and see what others have to say about getting their diagnoses, advice for people still seeking a diagnosis, and of course the importance of being #ConditionConfident

You can view the questions here. Be sure to follow @Clara_Health@IF_AiArthritis@PurplePlayasFdn, and us @AARDATweets

“Knowledge Is Empowerment” Webinar Saturday, March 16th 3 pm ET. You can register for free here!

During this live discussion, meet the team members from all collaborating groups, including Parker Lentini, and IFAA volunteer Linda, who has dealt with hard-to-treat rheumatoid arthritis (R.A.) for decades. We will also talk about genetic testing and treatment options, including clinical trials.

Facebook Chat #ConditionConfident Friday, April 5th 3 pm ET. On AARDA’s facebook page or on IFAA’s facebook page.

Join us to continue the conversation, as we focus more specifically on Juvenile Arthritis and family challenges with detection, diagnosis, and treatment.

We will be addressing any lingering questions, and providing resources to empower you with the knowledge to be #ConditionConfident

Be part of the discussion and, together, we can be part of creating solutions!

We use our voices to identify and solve the most pressing community problems affecting education, advocacy, and research. We are not representing the patient voice, we are the patient voice.  We believe that our voices today will change the stories of tomorrow to be those of early diagnosis, personalized treatments, common remission, and a world that understands the type of arthritis associated with our diseases.
