Ménière’s Disease

Meniere’s disease feels like being on a roller coaster. It’s unpredictable, bringing sudden vertigo out of nowhere, making the world spin madly around you. Add in the relentless ringing in the ears, sometimes so loud it drowns out the world. Focusing on a conversation or a task becomes a challenge. Walking straight is suddenly impossible. Driving is life-threatening. And then, as quickly as it came on, it’s over. Until the next time. And you never know when that next attack might be. It’s a battle that takes a physical and emotional toll.
