The pain from three diseases that affect my joints is intense. There are days that my knees, elbows, or fingers are stuck in a bent position. The treatment is equally intense, with the drugs causing extreme vertigo and dizziness, vision problems, and a sense of flashing lights. I have to make a choice between excruciating pain and the neurological side effects that make me feeling like I’m going crazy.
