I often turn to art to cope with the chronic pain I experience daily from multiple sclerosis. “Broken Beauty” portrays my own knees, the focal point of my struggle. The palette of intense colors expresses my relentless discomfort.
“Broken Beauty” captures my daily reality. My knees are contorted, but I see them as beautiful. Even in moments of profound pain and brokenness, there is an enduring strength. Beauty can coexist with suffering.
