Local Fundraising Volunteer

Join us in making a meaningful impact by helping raise funds for the Hope Journey Walk! As a Local Fundraising Volunteer, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to reach out to local businesses to secure support for Hope Journey. Working alongside the Autoimmune Association’s passionate team, you’ll help meet our financial goals while inspiring the community to get involved and make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and reach out to local businesses to secure donations and community sponsorships for the walk.
  • Connect with local businesses to request in-kind donations such as water and snacks.

Local Marketing Volunteer

Become a champion for the Hope Journey Walk and help us share the message far and wide! As a Local Marketing Volunteer, you’ll use your creativity to help spread the word through social media, local press, and community outreach. You'll inspire others to participate, both in person and virtually, by promoting the event and raising awareness for autoimmune diseases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote engaging content through social media, local press, and/or community outreach efforts.

On-Site Volunteer

Be at the heart of the Hope Journey Walk, creating an unforgettable experience for all participants! As an On-Site Volunteer, you’ll play a crucial role in making the event run smoothly. From assisting with registration to directing participants, you'll provide support every step of the way, ensuring everyone feels welcome and excited to participate. Your positive energy will help make this an unforgettable event.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with event setup, registration, and welcoming participants.
  • Direct participants to key areas, such as the starting line and water stations.
  • Support participants in person, ensuring everyone has a seamless and enjoyable experience, including distributing swag bags to make them feel special and valued.
  • Manage event stations and assist as needed.
  • Capture meaningful photos and videos of the event.

Virtual Marketing Volunteer

Be an ambassador for the Hope Journey Walk! As a Virtual Marketing Volunteer, you’ll help create buzz online by promoting the event far and wide. Your creative ideas will assist in spreading awareness, encouraging registration, and rallying virtual participation in the walk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Share and promote the Autoimmune Association’s social media posts, emails, and other digital content to increase visibility and engagement.
  • Identify ways to promote the event through online and local communities.
