Autoimmune disease affects women more than men & occurs when your immune cells, which are supposed to protect you, attack you.

Suffering in pain for 14yrs has been hard at times but as soon as I start painting I feel a sense of relief , calm and happiness regardless if my hands are hurting or it takes me weeks or months to paint just doing a little bit each day or every couple of hours just give me so much joy . I’m not the greatest artist but paint by numbers I’m finding very therapeutic. I don’t let these disease define me I choose happiness and this represents me happy and colourful on my best day 😊
