Return to Downton: An Afternoon Tea & Silent Auction

Join us on Saturday, May 20, 2017 for “Return to Downton: An Afternoon Tea & Silent Auction” to benefit the Autoimmune Association.

Autoimmune Association brings a national focus to autoimmunity as a category of disease and a major women’s health issue. More than 30 million women have one or more autoimmune diseases, which include Lupus, Scleroderma, Type 1 Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Hashimoto’s, Crohn’s, and more than 100 other disorders.

“Return to Downton” is our opportunity to raise awareness in the community we call home. The event will feature a Downton Abbey theme, from period music and entertainment to a “Dress Up for Downton” contest, a silent auction of fabulous items, and a lovely afternoon tea at The Whitney, Detroit’s iconic Romanesque Revival mansion-restaurant.

Proceeds will be used to fund patient education, support services and research aimed at solving the underlying immune issues that link all autoimmune disorders.

Unable to attend? You can still demonstrate your support of our mission with a donation.  Thank you!
